Privacy Policy
At Propiecu S.A. we take the privacy of visitors and consultation requesters seriously. This policy describes what data we collect, why we use it and what rights you have over it, in line with the Ecuadorian Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP) and its reforms in force in 2026.
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
When you use our form, we only collect your name, email and the message you decide to write. We do not request national ID, tax number, banking or wealth data at this stage. In addition, we log standard technical browser data (device, operating system, referrer) via cookies if you have granted consent.
3. Purpose of processing
We use your data exclusively to reply to your consultation, send you information about projects available in your region and, with your authorization, measure the performance of our informational campaigns. We do not sell, transfer or rent your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Legal basis
We process your data based on your free and informed consent (art. 7 LOPDP) and on the legitimate interest of managing the commercial relationship you initiated by requesting information.
5. Retention
We keep your data for a maximum of 24 months from the last active contact, unless a legal or contractual obligation requires a different term. When the applicable period ends, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
6. Recipients and processors
We may share your data with technology providers acting as processors (corporate email, site hosting and analytics), always under contracts with equivalent confidentiality and security obligations. We do not perform international transfers to countries without an adequate level of protection without specific contractual guarantees.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, object to processing, port your data and limit its use. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to privacidad@propiecu.com; we will reply within a maximum of 15 business days. If you consider that we do not properly address your request, you can file a complaint with the Ecuadorian Superintendence of Personal Data Protection.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), role-based access control, activity logging and periodic review of providers. No system is infallible; in case of any incident that may affect your data, we will follow the notification protocols set by the LOPDP.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. We will publish the current version on this page with the last update date. If the change is substantial and affects your rights, we will notify you by email when applicable.
